Arup Macau Office, FIT Center

Due to the business expansion, Arup decided to expand their Macau office in FIT Center Macao up to 6000 ft² for their 60+ employees.  Considering people are spending 1/3 of a day in office, and expanding engineering consultancy, we design different types of work stations to allow for a variety of working styles and positions.  As such an employee can always find a space or a position that fits his needs for better performance in both individual and collaborative works.  In addition, the design has brought in colors into different zones, such as gray tone for focus, light color for relaxation and contrast color for inspiration.  Flexible partitions at conference room were designed to connect with Collaboration Corner, so that variety of company events can be held for more than 60 people.  The Collaboration Corner occupies the best location in the office with open view and plentiful daylight which belongs to all employees.  Along the windows at open office, smaller desks were set up for people to enjoy daylight and work at the same time.
